The first Avengers: Endgame teaser trailer dropped yesterday and to no one’s surprise, it has now become the most viewed trailer of all time. The trailer garnered 289 million views, a record number, beating the previous record set by Marvel’s own Avengers: Infinity War teaser last year. Marvel Studios took to Twtiter to make the announcement and thanked their fans for making the feat possible.
That the Endgame trailer accomplished this milestone by virtue of a cold drop is insane. While the trailer was widely speculate to arrive on Friday morning, an official announcement was never made. Marvel just uploaded the trailer and it spread like wildfire, gaining millions after millions of likes crashing YouTube preventing the comments from loading. We now know all that crazyness has not been in vain as Endgame is now second to Infinity War, which gained 230 million views with its teaser last year. The 289 million view record set by Endgame is going to be a hard one to beat for years to come.
