In the flurry of Dune news that’s out there, I realized I missed one important bit. The official Dune logo treatment has also been revealed and with it, the font that accompanies the logo. The logo matches several fan renditions that had popped up online, especially on Reddit and confirms a popular prediction: the Dune logo is an ambigram. That is, it reads the same upside down.
A wider version of the logo is also available, with more breadth.
Finally, the Dune title font can be seen in the below image, isolated from any background.
What do you make of these official renditions? Are they satisfying enough and do they fulfil what you’ve had in your head? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
