Marvel confirmed that the movie will be released in English alongside dubbed versions in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, as made clear in the movie’s posters. No word on whether the studio will be striking any major deals for roping in some major Bollywood, Tollywood or regional stars from the country but things could go both ways. On the one hand, the uncertainty of the movie seeing the light of the day lingers in wake of the speculated third wave of the pandemic. Then again, if things do proceed smoothly, the presence of a major local star could help draw in eyeballs.

Marvel might also be banking on the high popularity of Game of Thrones among Indians which automatically familiarizes them to the likes of Kit Harrington and Richard Madden. That, coupled with Kumail Nanjiani playing a Bollywood star and the movie having a song and dance routine might negate the need to spend more. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
