Leaked No Way Home Stills Show Charlie Cox, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire

Sony just can’t catch a break. After previous leaks pretty much confirmed the presence of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a new still from the movie itself has leaked showing the actors clearly in their Spider-Man outfits. The actors are unmasked, standing atop what looks like a boat in the sea, staring at something sideways. Garfield appears to be speaking something and Tobey is seen in a haircut he never had in the original Spider-Man movies. Interestingly, the boat’s rods seem to match the set in the earlier set videos which had a blue screen and Garfield talking. The internet has dissected the images and the general consensus appears to be it’s not photoshopped but the real deal.

That’s not all though. The same source has leaked another still from the movie that mindblowingly shows Charlie Cox seated on a table as Matt Murdock with Tom Holland, Jon Favreau and Marissa Tomei as they converse, potentially about Parker’s revealed secret identity. Rumor has it that the scene in question was originally filmed with Tobey Maguire but reshoots led Sony to believe Cox is a better choice for the scene. Again, this one could in theory be photoshopped given how starkly similar Cox looks to his appearance in Netflix’s Daredevil but I’d wager that being due to faithfulness to the character’s look more than a fake image.

Both leaks come from the same source, a scooper named John Campea. The leakster posted, then deleted the tweets containing the images. But what ends up on the internet stays on the internet. Ergo, the images are available online to view. You can also catch them in the tweets above but don’t hold my breath for hosting them on my site; pretty sure Sony will be all at it in a bid to take them time.

So at this point, there’s little doubt that Marvel and Sony have pulled off the once impossible. This is a true Multiverse crossover that will bring all three Spider-Men into the MCU along with the Netflix Defender and open up the possibility of further reappearances down the road. There are some more fascinating leaks doing the rounds about the Sinister Six and the length of their roles in the movie but we’ll save that for another day. Meanwhile, do sound off in the comments with your thoughts about these leaked images in the comments below.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters on December 17, 2021. A new poster has just been unveiled and the second trailer is expected soon.
