MonsterVerse

Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse is a series of Kaiju movies centered around Godzilla set in the same universe. It started off with 2014’s Godzilla directed by Gareth Edwards and was followed soon after by 2017’s Kong: Skull Island.

Its next installments will see Godzilla square off against Ghidorah and Rodan in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, set for release on May 31, 2019, followed by Godzilla facing King Kong in March 2020’s Godzilla vs Kong. As of now, it’s uncertain whether the MonsterVerse will continue beyond this movie, though all signs point to it doing so.
