Nokia 8 leaks with Press Renders, Specs and Price

Nokia has been churning out mid-range devices in the last few weeks. However, many have been anticipating its flagship device. If the usually reliable leakster Evan Blass is to be believed, we now know a lot more about the device which could be unveiled very soon.

According to Evan Blass, the Nokia 8 (previously named Nokia 9) will come with a 5.3-inch QHD screen (2560 x 1440 resolution) powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 Chipset accompanied with 4 or 6 GB of RAM. It is expected to sport a dual camera setup like most flagships albeit with the legendary Carl Zeiss planning. At the back will be two 13 MP cameras with a possible additional laser-focus module.

The Nokia 8 previously appeared on benchmarks where it was codenamed TA-1012. These names are generally used within companies to label different prototypes. The device is almost ready and could be unveiled as early as July 31 (that’s right, in about two weeks). It is expected to be available in four colors – blue, gold / blue, steel and gold / copper for around €600 ($675 approx.).
