Ahead of Avengers: Endgame‘s arrival on Digital HD and Blu-Ray formats, Marvel Studios has released the now famous Avengers Assemble scene online in glorious 1080p, HD. To be clear though, the release comes through unofficial channels rather than Marvel’s own official YouTube channel. Additionally, the sequence begins just about Captain America’s call to the resurrected Avengers to Assemble and goes on for a minute or two more, so it’s not the entire scene end-to-end. Regardless, it’s worth checking out.
No matter how many times it’s seen, the final battle sequence is a spectacle worth beholding. It’s quite literally a comic book come to life with so many diverse characters, each with their own emotional investment. And Alan Silvestri’s Portal has become an iconic theme, hopefully making him a strong contender for 2020 Oscars in the Best Original Score category. I’m sure as you watch the sequence, you’ll remember reactions in your respective theatrical viewing of Avengers: Endgame, and boy they were huge.
The release is also timed to coincide with Endgame‘s Blu-Ray release in a few weeks, as well as Marvel’s SDCC panel slated for today. Check out our predictions for what Marvel Studios could announce at Hall H in Comic Con 2019.
