Avengers: Endgame Disney Shareholder Clip Released Online

A while back, Disney held a shareholder meeting where they showed off footage from their upcoming films, including Avengers: Endgame. Descriptions of what was shown had leaked online but now it appears that the entire clip has been released by Marvel. The clip was aired on Good Morning America and is neither uploaded on their official YouTube channel yet, nor is it in 1080p quality. That said, the clip should really whet your appetites for the upcoming Avengers film.

The said scene in question has the Avengers debating whether or not they should go right after Thanos once again to retrieve the Infinity Stones and undo the damage he caused. Carol Danvers encourages them and Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff are on her side. Rhodey and Banner debate against going for it, with fear of it ending the same as the last time. Finally, Thor arrives leading to the scene from the trailers where he calls upon Stormbreaker and expressing his agreement with Danvers and her plan. Don’t get confused on seeing Thor call out the hammer from the left though; the clip is flipped horizontally for some reason.

The great thing about the clip is that unlike a few early scenes released for Infinity War, it seems to avoid any sort of humor. This should be a natural consequence given what Thanos has unleashed upon the universe and while I have no doubt Marvel will sneak in moments of levity (see the shareholder meet again), I hope this is the general tone they stick to. It’s also great to see the Avengers divided over agreeing with or speaking up against Captain Marvel; even better to see Rhodey question her existence all this while. All her missed time on earth better make up for some good adventures in Captain Marvel 2.
