Avengers: Endgame TV Spot With Even More New Footage Appears

Following the Avengers: Endgame special look that kicked off ticket sales and broke movie ticketing websites (did you read our breakdown yet?), a brand new TV Spot has been released with even more new footage. And no, this ain’t clickbait. Among the several new shots seen include Carol Danvers staring at the fallen Hope Van Dyne and Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Tony Stark tearing up upon looking at something and Rhodey in his War Machine armor sliding off from destruction. Plus, Thanos quotes a brand new line, “The work is done. I’ve won.”

Some interesting subtle clues to pick up here. Rogers is already clean shaven at this point but we know from the Captain Marvel mid-credits scene that he isn’t. So between Carol’s arrival then, and this scene should be when Cap shaves, implying further that the shave doesn’t indicate a time jump. Rogers is also wearing the same shirt he wore during the reshoots last year, signifying those scenes were shot from around this period, perhaps to lend more weight to the Avengers interacting with each other and with Carol before jumping ship to defeat Thanos.

Also, neat tidbit there. Sam Wilson’s full name is revealed as Samuel Wilson. The footage isn’t exactly crystal clear high quality but expect a lot of TV Spots of this quality floating around in the days to come. As always, we’ll cover only the more interesting ones.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019. Fans living in the US can get their tickets now through Fandango and other ticketing websites. Check out the new posters and also our Road to Avengers Endgame series to prep yourselves up for the movie.
