Marvel Studios has released the first teaser trailer for 2019’s Captain Marvel on their official YouTube. Featuring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg, the mysterious trailer gives us enough hints about Carol Danvers’ transformation into the titular Captain Marvel as she struggles to recollect her life on earth as a human. With stunning visuals and a strong background music to accompany the proceedings, the trailer looks like a win so far. To top it all, we get our first footage at a digitally de-aged Samuel Jackson who returns as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury, along with Clark Gregg who is also back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the omnipresent Phil Coulson. Coulson was last seen in The Avengers and we cannot tell you how happy it makes us seeing him back in the MCU.
