The Art of Captain Marvel Gets Colorful Old-School Cover

As with most its movies, Marvel Studios will release a slew of merchandise that ties into its upcoming Captain Marvel. Among these will be The Art of Captain Marvel that chronicles the behind-the-scenes journey of the book. The cover art for that book was unavailable, until today that is. A high resolution version of the old-school styled cover has surfaced online and you can check it out in the image below.

The Art of Captain Marvel Cover Andy Park

Designed by the talented Concept Artist Andy Park who also happens to be Marvel Studios’ Director of Visual Development, the colorful, vibrant art features Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel taking the skies in a cool Starforce pose as she is flanked by characters from her origin movie on either sides. Almost all the major characters are present from Samuel Jackson’s Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos to Jude Law’s as yet unnamed character. We also see multiple iterations of her flying towards the fourth wall in her green Kree suit.

The Art of Captain Marvel is available for pre-order on Amazon and will set you back $50. It’ll be available on March 5, three days before the release of Captain Marvel.
