DCEU fans have been starved of original new footage ever since the release of Justice League on November 2017. With December’s Aquaman being the next movie in their line-up, fans are understandably anxiously awaiting the release of the movie’s first teaser or trailer. Wan has previously hinted that a trailer is in the works but declined to share any info on when it will be available. Today, he replied to an eager fan inquiring about the trailer’s release, offering the tiniest of update on the matter.

The question though is, how soon is James Wan’s soon? If this were 2-3 months back, we could probably predict a teaser being on its way. But now that it’s June already, I see it highly improbably that we’ll even get any teaser this far into the year. At this point, everyone’s best guess is the trailer dropping during SDCC (Comic-Con) which should be held in the third week of July. This should mostly being a 2 and a half to 3 minute full-length visual-effects intensive trailer.
