Avengers: Endgame Blu-Ray Release Date Leaked?
Endgame could release on home media as soon as next month.
Now that Avengers: Endgame is at the far end of its theatrical run, the next milestone to look forward to is its home media release. It appears that details about the inevitable release of Avengers: Endgame on 1080p Digital Download, as well as Blu-Ray might have been leaked. The rumor doing the rounds is that Endgame will arrive on Digital HD download on July 30 and should be available for purchase on Blu-Ray two weeks later, on August 14.
There’s no concrete info yet on what additional extras will the Blu-Ray release entail or even the exact formats the movie will be available on. A fair guess can be made though for an audio commentary by the Russo Brothers. I’m also holding out hope for an audio commentary by the original six Avengers, or at least some of them like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans who signed-off from the series in spectacular fashion. Some behind-the-scenes visual effects videos would be nice as well.

What I’m not holding out hope for are too many deleted scenes. Avengers: Endgame was the longest-running Marvel movie at 3 hours and I’d like to believe they got as much in as they wanted, even though some sequences with Katherine Langford still got cut. I expect a few cut sequences, but not too many. Pre-orders should begin going up with different stores and outlets coming up with their own schemes.
Avengers: Endgame has earned a total of $2.73 billion, leaving it just $50 million shy of breaking Avatar‘s box-office record for becoming the highest grossing movie of all time. With its earnings declining week-over-week, it doesn’t sound like it will beat Avatar in its current release. Our best hope is for the movie to get a mild boost once Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out in three weeks; if not, a re-release down the road should certainly help seal Marvel’s fate, as Avatar had a re-release with additional scenes as well.
Avengers: Endgame is still running in some theaters. Watch it while you can.
