Avengers: Endgame took over the internet with a surprise trailer packed with reveals and other implications. And now, it looks like Marvel intends to kickstart the movie’s official marketing riding the wave of the buzz regenerated around the movie in the trailer’s aftermath. To begin, Empire Magazine recently unveiled multiple subscriber edition covers, while also getting one made exclusively for their special-edition issue centered around Endgame.
The covers revolve around the original six Avengers as they look to avenge the deaths of their fallen superhero friends. As such, Hawkeye, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and The Hulk grace the titular cover. A second cover shows Thanos in his battle-drawn armor from Infinity War albeit with some slight modifications; we got a look at this soon after the release of Infinity War with some concept art leaks. There’s another cover featuring the original six Avengers from their earliest avatars, even before The Avengers; Cap in fact dons his 1940s costume that he wore in The First Avenger when he’s paraded around as a propaganda tool. The last image with Thanos staring at the sun rise over his victory in Infinity War was a special piece Empire commissioned by artist Vincent McIndoe.
You can check out all covers in the gallery below. More info is expected to arrive soon with the subscriber edition hitting stands on March 21, although I suspect Empire will reveal the new info themselves before that to avoid magazine leaks from stealing their exclusive thunder. Let us know which one’s your favorite in the comments below.
Avengers: Endgame is out in theaters on April 26, 2019. Now might be a good time to check out our Road To Avengers: Endgame series.
