Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Captain Marvel a couple of days back and unless you’ve been hibernating in the woods, you’ve probably seen it more times than you can count. Or, if you’re a regular visitor of Appocalypse, you’ve also read our breakdown of the trailer’s biggest moments. Regardless, we often tend to gloss over the minutest of details and it’s not until we analyse it on a frame-by-frame basis do we realize some incredible trivia we missed out on.
To that end, we’ve compiled a gallery of over 70 high resolution stills from the recently released trailer for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to devour it, theorize over it and even set some of them as your preferred wallpapers (until Marvel releases some official ones that is). And looking at trailers on a still-by-still basis gives you a whole new perspective on some scenes you might have seen again and again.
Take the case of the shot below. It looks like an ordinary shot on the surface, with Captain Marvel herself preparing to smack someone in the face. That is until you look at the figure in the background and can’t help but question whether he’s someone critical, or more importantly, someone from the movie’s principal cast.
Or this silhouette shot which supposedly shows Nick Fury infiltrating the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility in secret with Carol Danvers. This could be done either with the intent of uncovering clues about Carol’s past or digging further into the origins of a mysterious S.H.I.E.L.D. leader.
Have a look at the gallery below and see if you find something interesting. Don’t forget to share it with everyone in the comments below.
Captain Marvel arrives in theaters on March 8, 2019.
