Falcon And Winter Soldier Set Photos Tease US Agent’s New Captain America

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier recently commenced filming and it looks like set photos from the shoot have begun leaking out. Two such set photos show a high school football ground being used for filming what looks like US Agent’s grand introduction as the new Captain America. We get to see the giant-sized new “A” logo that could presumably be plastered over his uniform and shield.

It looks like Rupert Wyatt’s US Agent will be the government’s version of the new Cap. After Civil War resulted in the Avengers being fractured, the US government was left with a bunch of superheroes they couldn’t control. It would naturally make sense then after Cap’s self-imposed retirement in Avengers: Endgame for them to introduce their own star-spangled hero, one that could conveniently work for them.

This should put US Agent at odds with Sam Wilson who Rogers passed on his shield to. It’s probably with this announcement that US Agent will come on Wilson’s and Bucky’s radar kicking off a fight for the rightful heir to the vibranium shield and the American symbol of hope.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is expected to premiere some time during August 2020 on Disney+. It will star returning players Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Rupert Wyatt as US Agent, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter and Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo. Stay tuned for more such bits.
