Now that’s an epic shot.

Total Film is doing a special on Avengers: Infinity War in their upcoming Friday issue and to drum up excitement for it, they released an exclusive never-before-seen still from the movie. The still in question shows Cap’s side of the Avengers and the team at Wakanda looking at an impending threat, presumably from The Black Order of Thanos and getting ready for battle. Standing from left to right, the main players include Okoye (Danai Gurira), T’Challa / Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Steve Rogers / Captain America / Nomad (Chris Evans), Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson) and James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes / ex-Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). The look on their faces says it all; Thanos is approaching and the Wakandans have gathered for a showdown of epic proportions.

Marvel Studios recently shifted the release of Infinity War ahead by one week which is why marketing for the movie should begin to ramp up. This means we can expect a lot more of such stills, posters and bouts of info trickle onto the internet eventually including the inevitable second trailer. Personally, I’m beyond excited for Infinity War and this still only heightens that enthusiasm further. Let me know in the comments if it has the same effect on you as well.
