Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer 2 Arriving Next Week With Spoiler Warning?

A new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home has been classified and could drop as early as next week. Trailer Track spotted a new Spider-Man trailer that was rated by the BBFC and cleared without any cuts and is 2 minute 38 seconds long. What’s even more interesting is that this Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer 2 is set to contain major spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, reveals so big that it will come with a spoiler-warning message ironically by none other than Tom Holland.

Sony’s next Spider-Man movie has found itself in an odd spot thanks to its insistence upon being released in the same year as Endgame. In an ideal world, Marvel would’ve liked to conclude the year and its third cinematic phase of movies with Endgame, leaving viewers completely in the dark about what the future holds for the MCU. But Far From Home is set to give fans our very first look at the MCU in a post-Endgame world. Sony has had to refrain from marketing Far From Home too aggressively because of this very fact, thanks to Marvel’s strict mandate on not spoiling Avengers: Endgame. To that end, there’s heavy speculation that the first trailer was carefully crafted so as to hide any Endgame related spoilers, including how the world looks an behaves in the aftermath of the snap.

This has seen Sony exercise restraint, something the studio is not normally known for. So far, we have one trailer (read the breakdown) and a few stills and press here and there. But with Far From Home set for release in the next two months, marketing will need to ramp up. No wonder then that the Russo Brothers have officially declared Monday as being the day the spoiler-ban on Avengers: Endgame lifts, meaning fans will have the freedom to talk about it without worrying about spoiling it for anyone. And we’d wager the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer 2 could release online on Monday itself, though it could be anytime next week, before the weekend kicks in.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5, 2019. It features Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Marissa Tomei, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson reprising their roles as Peter Parker, Ned, Aunt May, Michelle “M. J.”, Maria Hill and Nick Fury respectively with Jake Gyllenhaal joining the cast as Quentin Beck / Mysterio, a self-proclaimed expert on the threat of the Elementals looking to wreak havoc across Europe.
