Wonder Woman 1984 New Stills Released

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to be released this year and while there hasn’t been much marketing after the CCXP trailer debuted, a slew of info and stills continue to trickle down. After a recently released still, both Fandango and USA Today have dropped stills from their 2020 movie previews.

The first one comes from USA Today and shows Wonder Woman sprinting away toward a location in Washington DC, with the White House serving as the backdrop. This could very well segue into the elaborate mall fight scene we’ve been glimpsed at in the trailers which sounds like it’ll be the film’s big action piece.

The second one from Fandango sees Wonder Woman holding someone upside down. I’m not even sure if this is a still; it looks more like an outtake at this point but it could very well be Wonder Woman telling onlookers to be quiet about what they’re seeing. That’s a nice play at the debate that keeps popping up about the line in Batman v Superman where she walked away from mankind a 100 years ago.

Both publications included Wonder Woman 1984 in their list of anticipated films of 2020. Which reminds me, I’m in the middle of creating my own list of 2020 films worth keeping an eye out for and should be out by the list some time soon.

Wonder Woman 1984 is directed by Patty Jenkins and set for release on June 05, 2020.
