Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings may have halted production but there’s still stuff we can get to see from behind the scenes. Director Destin Daniel Cretton shared one such behind the scenes photo featuring the core cast of the movie. Seen in the image are Simu Liu, Awkafina and the legend Tony Leung. Destin said in the post this was their last night before the coronavirus outbreak took over.

Fans may recall that the director himself had begun exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 which had led to production being suspended immediately. Nothing concrete was heard since but seeing as Daniel has been posting on social media for a while, it’s safe to assume he recovered from those symptoms. Here’s his original post from Instagram.

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings was originally set for a February 6, 2021 release before being pushed back by the coronavirus outbreak. It will now release on May 7, 2021.
