Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer To Release In 24 Hours?

The first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer could drop online within the next 24 hours, if internet buzz is to be belived. Scoopers have been predicting January 15 as the date and now Tom Holland’s interactions on Twitter have had fans convinced that the trailer is all but set to arrive soon. We intentionally didn’t run the story due to the multiple false alarms about this that have arisen in the last few weeks.

Fans have been clamoring for the trailer for far too long now. The trailer was shown in its entirety at CCXP Brazil last month. Since then, there have been multiple rumors about Sony planning to release the trailer online, but they all eventually fizzled out. Insiders say Sony’s plans shifted constantly for a myriad of reasons, while we believe it might have had to do with Marvel wanting to maintain some secrecy around Avengers: Endgame.

Yesterday, a fan hungry for the trailer tweeted to Tom Holland directly and got a reply in return from Holland himself, consoling the fan he’ll see what he can do.

Today, out of nowhere, Holland tweeted about his “conversation with Sony”.

And Sony just responded.

Update: Now Jake Gyllenhaal has posted on his Instagram as well, asking us to “get ready” as something’s coming.

All this is a clear indication that the trailer is coming. Actors and studios usually engage in this banter as part of a marketing ploy. It’s highly likely this conversation is scripted and will lead to some sort of official announcement for the teaser arriving later today, with the trailer itself coming tomorrow.

With the trailer for Shazam also expected to arrive later this week, it’s shaping up to be a great week for comic book fans. As always, we’ll keep you posted on the details.
