Tenet’s Total Film Cover Shows Off Its Heroes John David Washington & Robert Pattinson

Tenet seems to be progressing on track for a July 17 release even though studio Warner Bros. won’t officially confirm or deny this. All marketing seems to be proceeding as plan. Hot on the heels of a brand new trailer reveal (which showed off many hints to the overall storyline, even to the surprise of its leads), Total Film has now unveiled a magazine cover featuring its leads John David Washington and Robert Pattinson. You can check it out below.

Tenet Total Film Magazine Cover

Washington looks decked in military gear as Pattinson watches behind wearing a suit. The setup has echoes of the split-chamber we’ve seen at the end of the first trailer that has led fans to theorize extensively about what those two sides mean. It’s interesting to see Washington visit this space dressed up differently than what he is wearing in the trailer; this location be the subject of multiple scenes in the movie perhaps.

We don’t get much in terms of quotes except for the generic “It’s an incredible ride”. Total Film is undoubtedly saving more for the Friday issue of their magazine which promises to take us behind the scenes of Nolan’s most ambitious movie. It’s going to be an interesting read and I’ll be sure to scrounge the internet to bring you the most important reveals.

Tenet is tentatively set for a July 17, 2020 release date. The latest trailer however, did not carry this date.
