Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

Magizoologist Newt Scamander teams up with his Hogwarts professor Albus Dumbledore as the threat of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald emerges and threatens to plunge the world into darkness.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is the third installment in the Fantastic Beastsseries. It will be written by J. K. Rowling and Steve Kloves and directed by David Yates. The film reunites the cast from the previous films including Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Jessica Williams as Professor Eulalie Hicks and Ezra Miller as Credence Barebones, along with Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore reprising their roles from the previous films. New additions include Richard Coyle as Aberforth Dumbledore with Mads Mikkelsen replacing Johnny Depp as the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.

The Crimes of Grindelwald deals with the Wizarding World’s involvement in the second World War and will explore the magical communities around Bhutan, Germany and China as well as Brazil, the US and the UK. With Gellet Grindelwald’s power rapidly growing, Albus Dumbledore entrusts Newt Scamander and his friends on a mission that will lead to a clash with Grindelwald’s army, and will lead Dumbledore to ponder how long he will stay on the sidelines in the approaching war.
