DC Black

The DC Black label was intended to kickstart a series of standalone films based on DC Comics that would be separate from the main DCEU. These would be smaller, independent films made on a lesser budget and limited scope and tackle well-known characters from the DC Universe in a manner akin to one-shots in the comic world.

The Todd Phillips directed Joker was intended to be the first movie to kick off this line. So far, the DC Black title has only been reported but not officially settled on by Warner Bros.
